hello to all!

I would like to ask 2 of the basic questions. Which of Bansko Borovets or Pamporovo shall i look at for a budget ski holiday arriving in sofia, and which hotel would you reccomend for this? besides that can anyone tell me if i shall expect snow cover even by the second week of April?

Very risky leaving it that late joe. It's not out of the question, but it is very much end of the season.
All resorts have something to offer but Pamporovo and Borovets are most at risk of having no snow this late on.

You need to get a brochure, choose your resort, then come back here for further advice.

As Pete said, it can be risky going early April but often there is a late snow fall end of March.

Boro is the nearest transfer to Sofia and they often ski through April but only on the top.

Balkan arrange holidays 2 weeks longer than other tour operators.

thanks for your fast reply lady and gentleman! thing is that i am bound into doing the holiday in the easter holidays so that was my concern-if the snow cover would not be available-ill try to look into other possibilities then however was thinking of bulgaria for the lower end of costs! - once again many thanks.

Easter is late this year. You'd be better going to one of the higher resorts in France. It can be done cheaply if you choose your accommodation carefully.
