We had our first family skiing holiday in Boro in 2001. My husband had skied at school, but we all went in a beginers group together. I said if I did not like it we would not go on another skiing holiday. I learnt to ski on ice. It was great the next year we went and there was loads of snow.

It has taken many years of patient tution to get me to a happy standard of skiing. We used Boro sports and asked for the same instructor each year, this they are happy to do.

we have made many friends in the pubs, who each year we return will come and welcome you as friends. we have always found the bulgarians helpful and friendly. I do not judge any country on our standards so except them as they are. There has been vast improvements, and anyone that has used the original toilets at the top of the mountain will know what I am saying.

We have skied Italy, Austria and Finland and next year will try France, but will always return to Boro. I know its not perfect, but then neither have the other holidays. they were not perfect either. In finland this year it was 5euros a pint and 11euros for a pizza. Boro is a very friendly place, we have a great social life and enjoy the skiing. Roll on the 7th March when we will be back there.
