why only two lifts ???

can anyone help? several resorts seem to have more snow now, but only two lifts open if snow cover report is right.

Hi Patrick, there is a thread below from Tigertim saying the Borovets lifts are closed due to the wind.

I've only been once before, and we had no problems with snow or wind during the week, so i;m also hoping it's not a regular problem.

Lifts closed for 3 days during the week I was last due to high winds...pattern was:

Strong Winds (Closed)
Fine day (Open)
Heavy Dump (Open)
Strong Winds (Closed)
Fine Day (Open)
Heavy Dump (Open)
Strong Winds (Closed)

i have been to Boro the last few years and when it does happen it is a pain as the slopes by the Rila get manic but its just one of those things.

Normally the gondola to half way stays open if you are a good enough skier to do that part of the mountain then you can get across to the new 4 man but check it is open as it is a fairly tough ski back through the woods
