Well regarding all the snow worries....unless you are going in the next two/three weeks, the chances of you not having snow are pretty small. Sure, at the moment it does not look too good for the next two weeks BUT things do change, especially once you go out beyond 7/10 days, the reliability of even the best forecasts falls through the floor.
As soon as I see anything positive (and I dont mean flash-in -the-pan positive) I will post on here the good news

dont worry about it any mension of lack of snow realy gets everone going, keeps the board alive we are bound to have loads more before the end of the season, once it snow you get the is it going to keep snowing until I get there so there is no let up, relax and enjoy the bannter
