looking to go to Banff Canada at xmas Crystal book has guaranteed snow for this resort does anyone know if it is a resort which has a good chance of snow at that time of year know this is for bulgaria but been to pamps for last 5 years in feb but fancy something different and combined with xmasthanks in advance

Bloody hell Banff fanatstic place. Not skied it but stayed for a week in the spring. Thier season starts November and runs until mid May!! You have 3 mountains to choose from as well and because of the hight snow is pretty much guaranteed(Well as much as it can be these days)
It can be bitterly cold much more so than Bg with wind chills you could be looking at -30!!! or more. SO good kit is very important here.
Quite simply I would say that Banff is the most jaw droppingly beatiful ...

went along time ago in the summer and scenery was fantastic stayed in Canmore in a camper van!!!!But have always fancied USA or Canada for to ski so with other things going on in the summer we have the chance to put our money that we normally spend on a summer hol to a bigger winter hol although USA still very expensive Banff working out not too bad for that time of year thats what was making me wonder about snow at xmas but looks like we are going to book
