me and my brother are flyin out on the 6th stayin at the victoria in borovets, we're from leeds i know how you feel am well exited now and lookin forward to getting absolutely hammered and fallin down a lot as this is our first time snowboarding, we ski normally.

im going too.were boarding.im taking my mate who is usually a skiier. so hpfuly she will pick it up quick.roll on saturday.were from suffolk

I have found learning snowboarding really hard after skiing but we have been learning on a dry slope which doesnt help. I'm hoping it will be easier when i get there, i'm wishing the days away till saturday now.

oh it is so much easier on snow, trust me-the turns and everything.it takes a lot of falling over to begin with but one uve got hold of it, its so much fun!

Yeah i think the problem was it hurts so damn much falling on the dry stuff it was more a confidence thing than the technique the instructor advised me to get some balls. Which was fine for my brother but being a wee girl i'm a little lacking in the ball department. I am really hoping i get it cos it does look very fun and so much less hassle than skiing with those awkward boots and poles.
