re: Official calendar for Bansko 2013

The FIS supported event in Feb is for children, its a national event and was actually run last season as well. In that case they used red 7 in front of Shilligarnika...
The event in April is the national championships, this likely will involve Tomba...

re: Official calendar for Bansko 2013

Me and my familly will stay in Bansko between 19-26.01.2013. We are concerned that it will be crowded and some tracks will be closed becouse of preparations for event "28-29 January – KAPPY Cup, FIS races with SL, 1 GS" . Whether this concern is justified? Is this a first time that this event is in Bansko?

re: Official calendar for Bansko 2013

The Ski BG calendar is only showing events from last year however as this will be a junior event it looks as though no major runs will be affected.

re: Official calendar for Bansko 2013

Its showing Feb 26-27 on the FIS calender, and its definitely a childrens event, so im assuming the Jan dates are changed from the Bansko calender... When it was run last year it only involved red 7, but i note a GS ?
The format for childrens events differ from the adults, obviously in length and severity, so i do not foresee any real difficulties...
Will keep an eye on this one, and any problems it may cause Wink
