Hi folk

As I promised you, I put some new photos on the website for photo report. I was in Borovets last Sunday.

I can see that not everybody agrees on the conditions there, so here are my comments :

The weather was really sunny, for this it was a perfect day. And the biggest surprise was the quality of the snow. Of course only 3 pistes were opened :
the one in front of Rila (with 4 seats lifts) but some parts were very difficult to pass for beginners, because some stones were appearing. But nothing very dangerous for your skis, even if I made several holes in my board...
In the end of this run it was really overcrowded by English beginners taking lessons. I think that Pete is the only Brit that knows to ski

Then you had to take the cabins so as to try the other runs : Markudjik 1 with the drag lift was opened, but I didnt try, and Yastrebets 1 until mid station only (in the end I tried the entire run until the end, but here it was really full of stones, so I passed between the trees !).

Of course there was not tons of snow, but honnestly it was enough than necessary and I remember having worse conditions sometimes last year... After what I saw last week, it s really a good surprise. And if the forecast for this week is right, I can assure you that THE SEASON REALLY STARTED, DON T WORRY FOR THE CONDITIONS !!!!! It s a pity for the ones that planned to only hehe !

For the rest, the station is almost ready, although some shops are still in renovation or construction. I regret the shop selling Banitsas near the cabin station that no longer exists. However if you are fan of the Erotic bar, I can tell you that it was in full renovation !!!!!

Ah, something else : take it as you want, but I ate a hot dog in a fast food in front of the ice skating. Then all the afternoon I felt sick, so be careful when you buy such food... At your own risks...

The quality of the photos is not so good, but you can see the snow !!!
