Hi Guys,

As promised, Bobby and the cousin met with the Borosport Director today and below are the proposed changes to the resort this coming season...

Yastrebets 1 - As previously posted, this has been made wider in conjuntion with putting drainage for new cannons on here so that 1 will also have cannons this season rather than just 2 and 3.

Gondola to Yastrebets (Haramia) - they are also putting in drainage & cannons here to allow snow coverage all the way down from top of gondola - this is predominantly to avoid queues on Yastrebets as Haramia was closed quite a bit last year due to lack of snow so you couldn't get down from the gondola to Yastrebets and had to keep taking the shuttle to yastrebets Express. Will also avoid some weekend queues as locals from Sofia mainly just do Yastrebets runs, so will now be able to do all 3.

Martinovi red runs- as mentioned several times, there are no new cannons on these runs... They are modernising the existing ones as apparently they weren't that effective last year. They are changing the drainage (hence all the digging / new pipes etc) and moving the cannons around (hence new bases) but that's it. It will be the same as last year but they are hoping the cannons will work more effectively.

Martinovi Baraki 4 (the black above Rotata nursery) - will be widened

Sitnyakovo 1 (top of Sitnyakovo 4 man) - will be widened at certain points

Lastly, they are putting in drainage / cannons to Sitnyakovo runs (across from Martinovi reds) with the plans to get cannons onto 1 / Pathway / the link before the beginning of the season, although must stress, this is just the 'plan' here and they didn't confirm if this bit will be done in time.

There has been more widening /flattening / grooming etc of all runs which will see them in a much better condition, but the main changes are above. There are also new lifts, new reservoir etc but they are planned for 2014 season....!!

This is straight from the bosses, so hopefully all will come true and also that the Sitnyakovo ones get done in time as well. Hope this is of help and will keep you posted!

Agreed - good news about the cannons. Just wish the new reservior at the top was being built this year....!!

Breza opposite, but slightly up the road- we'll stick you on your ski's, give you a rakia, give you an almighty push and send you singing on your merry way!! It's actually fine as a hotel, basic but fine. The food is not great (we've not eaten there but there's been the feedback) but we put loads of friends in there last year as there were great deals going.

In terms of the bags and tomatoes, Bobby says to say you're horrible taking the constant xxxx out of us and he's got a great idea on how to use them....too scared to ask what it is....!
