Morning All...

Sorry for delay - will try better to post each day rather than every other day, it's just the resort is filling up fast and this weeks arrivals (you know who you are....!) are drinking us out of house and home...!!

Ok, I read a report from Hibs about the top, however I am going to have to disagree and wish people would stop quoting 'rumours'... The top was closed last week due to very thick mist and due to snow levels and they felt it not safe to ski on the Markudjik side... It was also closed on Monday but that was due to high winds and they wouldn't even let the workers up... Yesterday the top was open as it is today. There is a large amount of mist at the bottom, but at the top of the gondola, blue skies and sunshine with everything open. there was about 20cm of snow at the top last night and all runs, inclduing Mussala path are said to be in excellent condition - they have been pisted and have a small amount of powder...marky 3 still shut

Yastrebets and Rila runs are all open (except Popangelov)and all in excellent condition, however on the lower parts of Yastrebets and on the Rila side, the mist is making conditions not as perfect as they could be, so the advice from the operators is to stick to the Markudjik runs for best conditions...
