Hi. Going to Borovets at half term in Feb. Never been skiing b4. My daughter of 11 and myself are going on our own. Does anyone know of anywhere suitable to take her in the evenings? Also, with ski school etc, where and when do you collect your boots and skis, and what happens to them at the end of the day. I'm sure i won't need them much cos i'll be on my butt most of the time, but hey, it'll be nice to know the score. Thanks
Hi the boots and ski you collect from one of many hire places and they fit you out the first day and give you a card with a number on then each day you walk over give them your shoes and card and they give you your equipment and you take it back at the end of the day easy!
I'm sure they will be plenty of places to go in the evening, remember its half-term so there will be loads of parents in the same position as yourself.
Billbob, I can only presume your a **** with an answer like that, so you've you'll have no chance.
Dont worry about places to go in the evenings theres always lots of children in the restaurents and bar (not till four in the morning obviously but you wont be out of place. There is always sledging to be done or maybe a skiddo ride, I think there may be an Ice rink as well.
if your in ski school you will possibly find you end up meeying i the evening as well, its a good way of meeting people and you will have a great time.
We went for the New Year with 2 Girlz aged 9 n 11. We took them in all the restaurants n bars that we wanted to go in, they even stopped out till 1 in the morning with us at the big karaoke bar near the nursery slope on the last nite.
Loads of depots with equipment 4 hire so u won't have 2 walk far
Have a really great time!
Simes, i know the ice rink near the rila has gone but i'd heard there was one near the flora apartmnents. may be wrong though - its happened before and it may happen again
