hot drinks up the mountain are about 4levs each £1.80 ish and a decent hot meal where the ski schools go is about 15 levs £6 ish. personally i like the kebabs at mid station...legendary but not frequented with the ski schools
Agree with other posts, 2 kids myself. They've not been with school but i can say from family ski holidays the mornings are always a bit stressful getting ready to go out in the morning!
My advice would be to stress to your son how important it is to keep warm. Its always easier to take some thing off and tie it round your waist or stick a vest in your pocket when you take it off. If you get cold you'll be cold all day!
Give him a bag of mini choc bars ...

Helmet is a must.

Give him a bag of mini choc bars too. He can put a couple of these in his pockets so if he gets hungry or needs some extra energy he's got them handy.
I really hope he enjoys it, and if so you've gt to try it too. I was also a late starter, 40! Best thing i ever did, now addicted! Only problem i enjoy it more than my kids! The 1st lessons are the most fun as long as you laugh at yourself!
