Hi Everyone,

Just been to collect other half from Boro and things to seem to be looking up. Whilst as per all the other updates today it is still very light snow, it is still snowing at the resort level and everything is starting to change colour...! Even driving up fro samkov, the woods on the side of the road are looking 'white' for the first time in several weeks - up until now, it's just been mud!! Whilst this is still not providing a massive 'base', the sky is pure white, so if it were to continue like this for a couple of days, then things will be looking up for the new arrivals. At the top of the mountain, there is approx 20cm of fresh snow (measured by operators earlier) but still runs aren't skiable yet. If (and it's a big if) the snow continues, they would be in a position to get the piste-bashers out and sort out the Markudjik slopes but they are very non-committal about that happening.

Don't want to give anyone false hope as obviously if it stops snowing, we will be back to square 1 as there's just not enough to make a lasting impact...but keep on dancing all of you and maybe you'll be in luck!!

BTW - it was also -1 at resort level when I went to get him, which is much better than it has been. I know it still needs to drop a couple of degrees to get the Rila Cannons on but at least Yastrebets slopes are looking good now, which is much better than it has been for the people here the last few weeks,
