Morning,

There has been a bit of snow in Borovets, but only about 2cm. Saying that it is still snowing now albeit lightly, so heopfully things are on their way up! Everything looks white on t webcams, but it is simply a basic covering and not deep. At the top there has been about 5cm, so looking a bit better. It's still not enough to open some of the lifts and the Markudjik runs, nursery and Musala pathway are still closed.
Gondola is open again today and people are now able to ski down to the yastrebets runs again but beware, one of the operators has just done it and it's still pretty hairy...!!
4 man chair is open (shuttle buses still running) as skiing down to yastrebets is not recommended. Yastrebets 2 and 3 are in better condition than yesterday and not so icy, snow cannons are still running... The 2 drags on the Rila slope are still open and it is definitely still colder..but the third drag (next to Yanakiev) is still shut and snow cannons are not on down here.
Sitnyakovo Express has been closed for the last couple of days but is open today, but only for walkers.

So, whilst it's not amazing, things are heading in the right direction...at last!! if you have any more questions, let me know and I'll try and find out!.

In answer to some of the above...
Rila it is about 0degrees, hence cannons not working, but that's much better than last weeks' highs! Other half is now on Yastrebets so that was about an hour ago, you would need someone to confirm this, but bear in mind the temperature that it shows on the Rila is not correct a few degrees out.
Yastrebets - snow cannons are still working here and were on all yesterday and last night. Just had a call to say conditions here are pretty good, fresh powder etc and in total contrast to yesterday when it was just pure ice.
Snow - it is still snowing lightly at the very top, but on Yastrebets snow has stopped and it is very misty. The only worry they have is that if the temp goes up again, then the expected snow, will become rain, but at the moment temps are holding themselves up there - it was -6 when he called.
