Im out on the 16th (ariving late evening), with my two kids- and i know Rob on here is ariving with a big party from Manchester (we are all at the Iglika, Behind the Rila)- no doubt drinks will be arranged in due course!
Yea we will organise a drinks evening one night! dont wanna sound disheartening but according to the snow-forecast site its not looking promising - could be plenty of time for drinks!
Me and the misses are heading out to Borovets, well Bulgaria for the first time. was itching to get a ski trip in as not been for a while. Reading all the reviews i was a little concerned at first but i am going to try and enjoy as much as possible.
As not been here before can anyone recommend some cheap places for local beer and wine?
happy hours?
good food?
Where to hang out of an evening, the kids have been sent away to their Aunties so no worries about staying up late now! ...

Staying in the Rila with free drinks from 4pm to 10pm so will definitely make the most of that!! hopefully without any issues!!
Hi firemonky- free drinks at the Rila- thats a new one on me?- tell us more!
Theres plenty of friendly bars in Borovets- mainly on the main street and a few off it- Titanic is allways popular and thats where we will most likley have a meet up (Kas arranges this being the good hearted lass she is and of course Bobby!)
You will quite quickly find your way around as its not that big a place- bars are cheaper than the hotels though (unless its free at the Rila!)-
Happy hours vary pub to pub ...
