Next Weekend 17th/18th Jan whos going?Borovets

with only a week to go- whos going out next weekend- saturday or Sunday (like us)- where you staying etc
were going Sunday 18th- staying at the Flora - flying from Newcastle with Balkan- get in late late evening!

Im going Sunday with my bro, his Mrs and her brother. Never been to Bulgaria before, you?

Were flying from Manchester and land about 6pm local time. Cant wait, Im like a kid at xmas!!!

H jonesy- yeah been a few times, never at the Flora before like!
we wont get into resort till really late on the Sunday night though
you new to skiing then? taking leassons or what?

I've been snowboarding and skiing a few times each and am boarding this time and have booked 3 days of lessons. Were stayin at the Victoria Hotel and I think its through Balkan Holidays.

Cant wait!!! Any recommendations for good bars and where to avoid?

every where is ok really- im rather limited to my night time excursions as the kids take their skiing seriously (good!) and are knackered and away to bed early most nights-but we have said this year we are getting out at night a bit more so will probably meet up- white magic is usually a good meeting place for folk on here around 7

Ive seen loads of conflicting posts on here about the cost of drinks/food over there. Any tips on how much wonga to take?

depends if your half board or self catering in an appartment- half board, we have found theres allways something to fill you up- self catering and eating out or buying and cooking? dont really know- trying that first time this year- been informed prices much as over here though, so will have a go and see,. when we have eaten out (2 yr ago) prices were good, obviously have increased but away from the mountain been told are ok.

Were half board so its just beer tokens really Ive seen there are a couple of places that are pretty cheap but my bro's wife is going who has just found out she's havin a wee one so we will probably need to keep away from the rowdey bars as much as poss.
