Well I'll try and answer as many questions as I can in the order they appeared.

Yes the Bor is well away from the nightlife but 38 and too old to party
GOOD GREIF your in your prime so get out there and break a leg

Well I go last week in Jan - 1st week in Feb and have done so every year for 12 years. Always had good if not great snow and never not skied.
Hotel Elita is about a ten minute walk from the centre set in the pine forest just 300 ...

Hotel Elita is about a ten minute walk from the centre set in the pine forest just 300 metres from one lift but 1.5kms from the main ski station. (local ski bus runs every few minutes) Completely renovated all 27 rooms in 2002.
Not all runs are clearly marked Black, Red, Blue, Green so without knowing your ability I am not prepared to advise you on which runs to take. Team up with someone who knows the slopes for your first day and decide from there.
Several X country routes and off pieste, but again do not do this alone as that would be a bit silly on a mountain you don't know.
