2009 - Posters Meet

For the last 4 years we have had a Posters Meet weekend usually at one of the Ski Centres in the UK (Tamworth or MK)

The agenda usually consists of meeting up at the Centre about noon, having some fun on the slope, out for a meal in the evening, stay over at a Travelodge/Premier Inn then return home on the Sunday.

If enough are up for it I'm happy to arrange another for this year. Probably around May time.

Me and Shogun will be there. Having been before wouldn't miss it for the world. If you could tie it in with a bank hol w/end like last year that would be fab as when we went to Tamworth in November on a school w/end the poor little man was dead on his feet Monday morning. Hopefully we can find a better restaurant this time round lol

Fine with me Dona - it wouldn't be a Meet without you and the little fella there.

Looking at the calendar, we have a choice of either May 2nd (4th is a Bank Holiday) or May 23rd (25th is a Bank Holiday)

I've no preference - I'll leave that to you guys.

This year (provided we go ahead) I will ensure we book a restaurant that is both good value and a good atmosphere.

Have to say last year was great value but what a strange place

I'd vote for May 2nd as many may be on holiday at the end of May - half term.

Dona - thinking of bringing my 11year old, Aiden, so Logan and he could pair up and leave us to socialise. I think Logan is similar age????

Tamworth would be better for me as I visit the Toyota Centre there quite regularly so it would be easier for me to seek out a good restaurant. The Premier Inn was also handy for the Centre.
