I will be back next season too along with my other 15 family members who all love it and the prices are cheap.

Thanks for the negative replys very helpful, this was just an idea be it a bad one in some peoples eyes but it was still an idea to get things sorted.

Please feel free to suggest an alternative as all i see here is moaning , nobody wants to do anything about it typical british atitude.

Tonycott - Best just to leave it to those who know best. Apparently its only going to cost £800 pp for a weeks skiing in Borovets next year

That's a bit harsh as that price is Half Term if you would would like another example £466 on the 10/1/10 including ski pack shal I continue?

Tonycott - there is a lot going on that you do not know about. I cannot or will not say more, because it takes time, money and a lot of negotiating to turn the oil tanker around, but I can assure you things are afoot for massive changes in the not too distant future.

I'm betting the people who moan on about the prices in Bulgaria only ever stay within the tourist trap areas and don't even bother venturing out about 5 or 10 miles from the resorts. If they did they could have the best of both worlds. I for one think the restaurants in Samokov town (nr Borovets) are some of the best I have been to for a small fraction of the price of the UK or the resorts..... give it a try and stop moaning!

i was looking at austria and italy for next yearand to be honest iwould probly look at going bulgaria again they are so expensive elsewhere.just hope bulgaria doesnt go like the typical eu countries and go thorugh the roof with prices

whats all this expensive rubbish. I paid £170 for 1 week half board there is snow up top and its £1 a pint. Happy days. Vive la borovets
