For the past 3 years now, certainly Pamporovo has seen a marked change in when the real skiing season begins.
Snow in December and January has seen some pretty poor conditions and tourists have returned naturally disappointed with the lack of decent snow.

Now as we move into February, the snow has improved a great deal and conditions are substantially improved.

So as you consider your plans for 2011, take this into consideration, and I would strongly advise that if you are considering Pamporovo for next year that you book from Feb 1st onwards and hopefully you will see the same conditions then that we are experiencing now.

Fair comment PP - for various reasons, we weren't able to book too far in advance this year.

As Borovets has only just started to get conditions anything like "normal" we decided to go elsewhere this year, broaden our horizons a little. Plus, we are going with friends, and didn't want them to have a poor first experience of BG.

However, I'd go back to Boro without hesitation, but have to say I don't think I'd consider booking too far in advance or for too early in the season.

Let's hope things are good for the remainder of the season now and everyone who's going, whether it be their first time or 20th time have a good one.
