re: 26th Feb Victoria, Boro.

First time skiing ever for me. Traveling out on the 25th Feb, is there likely to be snow?

Sounds silly... just concerned if there is any chance that I can't Ski? Has it happened in previous years?

Thanks

With the amount there is now it will see the season out. But I believe the forecast is for more. Best in years and years. There will be plenty there dont worry, mainly because Im going at the same time. Razz Razz

Thanks for your reply. Another question if you don't mind?

How much for a beer? I'm getting conflicting figures online.

Thanks,

Ben

Depends on which bar and at what time. Lots of happy hours for the local brews. Last year was paying between 2 - 3.5 levs for a large beer. Plus check out Bobbys bar will be very reasonable in there with an extra 10% off for board posters.

Group of you?

You will have no problem with snow. Last year we went at the beginning of March and were lucky as they had a much needed dump just as we arrived but even with the poor snow in Jan and Feb there was skiing in the weeks leading up to it.

My only concern would be the two big pathways (royal residence and musala) as these were great for the kids but need snow and any prolonged dirth of snowfall may make these tricky in places. Having said that I don't have any local knowledge so it may be ...

Having said that I don't have any local knowledge so it may be that there is enough everywhere for the rest of the season regardless of snowfall.

Don't forget as well that the best runs all have cannons anyway.

Snow cannons, great news.

There will be a group of 6 of us. Heard there are lots of happy hours etc, it will be a case of shopping around I guess.
