There is 5 of us flying from Gatwick on 2nd Feb and one more joining on 3rd Feb. We'll be in Bobby's Bar at some point although my other half will NOT be having the shots - he can't remember much of the night last time!Fingers crossed for some more snow - looks a bit patchy on the web cams but I'm sure there will be plenty to cushion my many falls!

Here's hoping to more snow I don't like the ice as I look like Bambi trying to negotiate runs when it's like that. Not a pretty site.

Can we swap the Pamporovo and Bansko forecast for Boro? Looks like they're set to get an absolute bucketload! The weather gods haven't been too kind to Boro far this year, so heres hoping for no more "unsettled" weather!! Please!
Let's hope that the temps stay low in to this weekend so that the cannons can go on and help things out.

This season really reminds me of two years ago, the first time back to Boro for us for a long time.
As I recall there were only a few days during Jan and Feb when it really was rock skiing and there really was very little snow during those times. So I wouldn't worry too much. There are more cannons now as well.
I also think that you notice lack of snow more if the top is not open as it forces more people onto the lower slopes and compounds the wear and tear on them. If anything lots ...

We were there two years ago and were there in Feb like Jez said conditions then were far from ideal but we managed to find plenty ofre: 2nd Feb
Damn I phone.As I was saying even though wasn't too much snow around in our last trip we still found plenty of places to ski.
Hopefully this trip mrs SF will get a better ski class as her last one was full of doughnuts who didn't want to try to ski more interested in fashion and scared of breaking their nails wouldn't leave nursery slopes the whole week. Did get her a couple if private lessons but ran out of time to make too much progress.

I guess last years weather has made me greedy! Lol
2010 was very good with a mega dump on day 2/3. And last year snowed every day. So it seems there is a pattern. Haha.
Know what you mean re missus and her ski group... She progressed more in a day with me than she did in previous 5 in group. She even managed Musala Path with no falling!! I was v proud of her!! Lol
