I started skiing when I was 43 with my son. It's great fun. Just enjoy yourself. You will have a ball. When I started the kids took to it like ducks to water(no fear). It took me ages to get going but I persevered and now I love it.It's something me and my lad enjoy doing and you don't have to compete with anyone but yourself by trying to master the technique and getting more confident at going down steeper runs.
U`ll love it , we first went 6 years ago for huubby`s 40th.....kids were still little.......loved every minute and go back every year........although the kids just leave us behind now.
Hey, I was 45 when I arrived here in Bulgaria, and I too had never been on ski`s before. After a few days of fearing for my life, it kind of clicked, and now I go every weekend, and love it.
Make sure you get a good teacher, you will find plenty for about 90 levs for the day, and they will look after you.

By the way I am 56 this year.

It really is such a laugh and falling over is all part of the fun. I went to Xscape in Pontefract for a lesson before I went, and that helped but progress in ...

The instructors will lead you at the pace you want to go at, but you really will have a ball. I actually booked this coming holiday within a week of getting home from the first one - prepare to get hooked
