5. Snejanka 5 ski run Pamps

Hi AllEsp Pamps Pete.
Can anyone tell me about this run at Pamps Snejanka 5 (Snejanka-Ardashla) , which on some maps is shown as red black red and on others is described as a red and blue. - we didnt do this last year as our instructor liked the red run no 2 came out by the wall.
No 5 run.
This runs from Snez tower past the drag lift? and comes down to the 3 man lift, is it a hard red at the top and a hard blue, or is it in fact a black and a red?

a red run with a difficult black section in the middle.can be quite icy at times.

Hiya Pete,
The run you mention (5) past the small drag is in fact my favourite run of all.
It starts off fairly easy, but there are some pretty steep narrow sections that are Black/Red.
It is MUCH steeper than the mild red that runs towards the Wall and I would not attempt it without an experienced leader with you.
If you do try it, and find it too difficult, there is a cross country track that crosses over the run halfway down. If you turn right here you can walk about 100yds and ...

I think the Balkan brochure printers must have run out of red ink, as there is no way Snejanka 5 is at any time a blue run to base.

You can join us for a day MMP and I'll take you down, not much of a skier mind you but it is my fav run and i've been doing it for the last 3 or 4 years. The 1st one i'll do when i get out on Mon morning in fact.PS Stephen i'll prob see you in the airport.

Hi StephenThere are 4 of us
Me and my good lady and 10 yr old daughter + My wifes sisters hubby.
We are staying at the markony - lazy gits arent we, no I think not first on the slopes last off, bit of bumboarding before tea, Tea, Jacuzi maybe a pint or two, bed, breakfast, then straight out onto the piste, and start all over again.
I am looking forward to the suana and Jacuzi the best to rest those weary legs.
