6 day ski pass becomes 5 day becomes 4 becomes 3..
Have found out from someone who has returned from Boro the following..Gondola shut on last Monday in month 27th for technical checks and repairs...no skiing that day..Friday 3rd March is Bulgarian National Holiday so too overcrowded to ski with bulgarians enjoying themselves on their holiday....finally little or no snow between now and this Sat 25th probably lucky to get 3 days average to poor condition skiing.
re: 6 day ski pass becomes 5 day becomes 4 becomes 3..
actually the bulgarians have some holidays from the 1st march but the main day is the 3rd march yes
the chairlifts will still be open though so with them and the drag lifts youl be fine or hire a skidoo
the holiday in Boro will be great no matter what else is going on , never had a bad holiday there yet,

we were there at the same time last year and to be honest, during the bulgarian holiday we noticed only a very slight increase in locals skiing. It is very expensive for the locals to ski etc and you will notice very lille difference.
Stop panicing and be grateful that your on holiday skiing. Plenty of people would be glad to be in your shoes and perhaps they would also be more positive about the whole situation.

I see the doom and gloom merchants are here again
We were in Boro same time last year and it was busy but it was still great and Steviet you also say there will be no snow well i beg to differ as if you check you will se there is forecast for over 30cm in the next couple of days.
So chill out and if things are really that bad i am sure there are a lot of people on this forum that will have you flight, ticket etc and have a great time..
Only 3 days before we are there

This is just my opinion....is this forum not open to everyone to air their views, comments and information? rather than being a private club for the elite few!

I think the point is Steve that lots of us have been looking forward to a holiday for ages and you have to admit that your post was depressing at best!
OK, so the Gondala is closed one day. You still have the lower slopes. As Robbo says the increase in numbers on the holiday weekend will not spoil anyones fun and finally the forecast is for a lovely big dump before Sat.

hi guys
will be going to bansko on the 4 march, and it looks to be snowing all weekend up to tuesday28th feb,it will probably be the best conditions we have had yet as they are forecasting 50cm of snow.but does anyone know what time the gondola lift open, and is it as bad as people say.ie the queues .if so would you agree that it is best if we get there 30 mins before opening time.or if there are queues will they move quickly.
is that the way you spell" queue"
cheers
