I too am going on 6th Feb, I have not been to Bulgaria before and previously have worn ankle boots with a smiggin' of a heel in France and Italy (don't shout everyone!) at 5 ft 4" I need all the help I can get!! I never had any trouble Very Happy However, folks who have been before say it is very icy on the streets in Bulgaria, so maybe not a good idea.... on well, I'll be the one on the floor in ankle boots! pick me up if you see me out. lol

Leave the heels and the hair straighteners at home - moonboots and fluffy hair all the way. It's actually really nice to go out casually dressed and not have to faff about "dressing up" - you'd stick out like a sore thumb if you did, to be honest. Go with the flow.....

Mary-lou I'm with you on this one, I'm short too so need heels! If I brake a leg I've got insurance lol, no seriously, thanks for the advice, if the heels sneak into my suitcase there's much I can do about it..... Smile

I wish I was 5'4" !! Seriously, please listen, you will not need heels. Do yourself a favour and replace the space/weight with a couple of extra hoodies or t-shirts, you will get far more wear out of them. Have a good time!!
