7th January Borovets

First time in Bulgaria, flying from Birmingham at 14:45 arriving Sofia 19:50 on 7th January. This also happens to be my 50th Birthday!!! My question is, is this What time would I expect to be in Borovets and which drinking establishment should I head for to see out the rest of the day ? I don't want to waste much time , and would be great to see anybody to help me celebrate

You should arrive in Boro about 10-10.30. Head for Bobbys Bar where I am sure you will get a great reception. Also this will help get Kas & Bobby in training for when we arrive 3 weeks later.

Hi,
Happy Birthday, glad to know at least one other over 50 year old on that flight. Staying at the Hotel Bor which I understand is a route march away from Bobbys Bar, so have to decline your offer.
Sure that I will seek out Bobbys Bar once I make it into the centre.

We'll still be open and will wait for you to help you celebrate....!! We are right near the gondola station and a special shock on the house ready for your arrival!!

We are also coming to Borovets for the first time on the 7th, but flying from Manchester. We should arrive an hour or so earlier than you, stopping at the Lion hotel. My son will be 28 while we are out there, I am 53. We are planning to meet at Bobby's bar on the 8th with some others on the forum.
K&B - how do we find the bar?

Bobbys Bar is to the left of the gondola in the centre of Borovets

Hi Gareth,

The easiest way to find it is come into borovets, samokov hotel on left, gondola on right. The bar is about 20metres uphill from the gondola station and just before the breza hotel.
