Great news, but I think the real problem last year was not the lack of snow, it was the high temp that was melting it very quickly.
A little bit of snow goes a long way as long as the temp remains below zero.

i wonder whether they will bother pisteing it down to get base layer. I guess its all a bit early for that, will probably be 15 degrees the following week.
