Considering it is New Year week, the top slopes today were remarkably quiet. It started off with limited visibility up top and -18 deg but by 10.30am the sun broke through and the conditions were superb.
Even the que at the Yastrebets 4 man chairlift was non-existant.....the conditions on the Yastrebets runs are fantastic. Even the small button lift outside the Yastrebets hotel was working!!!.
I was in the Gondola with a couple of Brits.....so I asked them where else have they skiied... ...

I was in the Gondola with a couple of Brits.....so I asked them where else have they skiied....there reply was....France, Austria and Whistler....and they felt that Borovets was one of the best in Europe. They knew I lived here, so maybe they were just being nice?....but they liked the friendlyness of the Bulgarian people in the resort.......nice to hear such comments.....
