1. Alot of reviews I've read mention cold hotel pools, is this really that common there. When i went to Bansko 2 years ago the pool was nice and warm
2. Temperature, I was in Tignes France a couple of weeks ago and it was bitterly cold some days on the slopes, hotel was at 2200m high so its a high up resort.
everyday you couldnt go out really without a facemask at all, so glad i bought one
How is it in general on the slopes ...

How is it in general on the slopes, dont want to tell my beginners to pack and wear too much if its not going to be freezing! in other words, those that have been do you find yourself sometimes getting too hot on the slopes or no chance
3. how busy are the slopes this year to previous ones, alot quieter? I'll be there the 7th March which was one of the dates they were giving free lift passes out for so not sure how it'll be, hoping its quiet for the new ones in the group
I was in Pamps three weeks agao and the Swimming Pool in the Perlick was not that warm which I was supprised at as it's normally lovely.
On the slopes it really does depend when I was there it was cold one day and hot sun the other. Best wear thinner layers than you can take them off if you get too hot.
Again when I was there it was very quiet. From what I have read and heard plus my own expereince it has been very quiet in Pamps this year.
Hope this all helps. Hope you have a good ...

Pamps has been quiet this year and is normally quite warm. Both my son and myself just wear t-shirts under our ski gear with a headband on our heads to cover our ears. This year we had a few cold days and had to put a hat on as well.
Haven't been to Tignes or Pamps however Tignes is one of the top 5 highest resorts in Europe, is very exposed up top so prone to high winds thus windchill. Contrast with Pamps where the skiing is much lower and tree lined so some protection against strong winds. The contrast between the two 'must' be huge.
Have been to Tignes once and to Pamporovo more times than I dare count. Tignes is without doubt much colder in general, however any ski resort can experience extreme conditions and Pamporovo is no different.
My advice, it's easier to take something off than put something on that you don't have. Too warm is better than too cold in my book.
Slopes are almost 50% quieter this year and virtually no queues whatsoever.
Im off the pamporovo on the 7th march too.. i hope theres lots of snow.. ive heard a few bad reviews that there isnt much?! has anyone just got back or know the the snows upto out there?
