Why oh why you need to drink beer on a lift is beyond me. Maybe you want to ski in the bar next
There are dozens of watering holes on the slopes without having to drink on the lift and the snow below each year is littered with disgarded cans and bottles from people who do just that.
If you must, and it is not forbidden, then PLEASE make sure you dispose of the empties in an apropriate place.
as I said people like you ruin the peacefulnes sof the slopes. Why is it our nation has to degrade our self resect where ever we go. Why do you need to drink on the ski lift?
Surely with a clear head you can enjoy the wonderous surroundings of the mountains and brath in the clean air, without, ' avin a stella'.
Try to do what the locals do and have a glass of rakia at lunch.
I have a beer cans on the way up the lift, as i usually have the "shakes" in the morning as a result of the previous night
I find a couple of cans helps to reduce these shakes and improves my balance , and consequently ski better.
In Boro, part way down the green run there is a great shack called "Georges" it really quite literally is a shack, made from old tree branches and pine cuttings, he has a real log fire outside and sells mulled wine, beer, coke, fanta, hot chocolate. We used to stop there at least once a day just because the place and surroundings were so cool (so to speak).
There looked to be a few of these type establishments around the various runs and they seemed full of traditional character, ...

the best way to have a drink is to bring a hip-flask with you and then you wont want to throw it away. this is wat i do ( Mastika ) on the mornins ive got a hangover as my oul granny used to say a wee nip keeps the cold out and the man on his feet. and besides that i love to ski the natural moguls that are below the three and four man lifts in pamps and the last thing i want to run into is some 24 carrott plonkers kestrel larger can. if you realy need a beer wait till you get to one of the ...

Troll, Amazing! absolutly Amazing! We must be a dying breed, I just soak up the views, watch whats going on below and chill while on the lifts. I can't think of anything worse than watching a muppet necking cans of beer first thing in the morning, may be its Ibiza club 18-30 you want. Pete's spot on, the mess it creates is embarrassing, seeing as we rely on this piece of nature to provide us with all the enjoyment skiing brings, some choose to repay nature by trying to cover it with beer ...

The time for drinking is later in the cafe's and bars. It bugs me that you may have stopped a real skier/boarder from enjoying a week in Bulgaria.
Abit harsh I know but Thats my views. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
I do not throw the empty cans on the piste-i put them in my pack.
I cant see the harm in me having beer cans whilst on the lift-I am on holiday after all, and holidays are for fun.
