ATM in Bansko

This has probably been posted a zillion times already, but can anyone tell me if there are ATMs in Bansko? If so do they accept visa withdrawals? Cheers heaps. Stuart.

yes there are a few there, I think most banks have them , but i usually use OBB there is definately one that works there.

First Investment ATMS at the Gondola Bottom Station / Outside Strazhite and next to Pirin Hotel

Yes, ATM through out the resort as mentioned in the post by the insider and also in the town centre at the banks and they do allow you to withdraw on credit cards.

are there also exchange bureau's (and exchange machines )apart from cash withdrawl ATMs? since we'll be getting Euros with us due to Lev not being available in our country (Malta).

and where is the best place to exchange foreign currency (i.e. as to best rates...)?

Yes. I think the best place to change currency is in the banks. Thats where you get the best rate (just my view). The best exchage rate are not by getting it in your own country but by withdrawing at the ATMs (if your bank does not charge for forign withdraws) this way tou get a comercial rate and not a tourist rate.

I change mine at the bank next to the Strazhite Hotel.
