AUCTION A THONG

After ludicrous and violent debate on who will own the Thong after the Ski A Thong I have decided to put it up for auction at the Presentation Evening on 14th March.

The Buy It Now price is £200 but ths must be paid into the Halifax account or PayPal account at the Orphanage Website on or before midnight on Monday 3rd March. Andie must be informed by e-mail that you have purchased it and I will post it to you on my return.

ALSO - those who will be there on the night of the 14th - can you bring something to auction please! ANYTHING it doesn't matter what it is or what it cost it will all go under the hammer. I will start the ball rolling by donating a pair of Orion Skis - almost new with bindings.

The auction will start around 10pm with the Thong being the last item. (unless someone takes up the Buy It Now Offer)

Come on - anything will do - it's for the kids remember.

re: AUCTION A THONG

You can send me sealed bids in an envelope - if nobody outbids your highest bid - it's yours for £1 more than the highest bid on the night.

Now that's fair! Razz

We will need to know what's on offer before you go.

If they are your skis then they will be useless to me, I can barely make short skis go in the right direction Exclamation Very Happy

Pete - I understand the reserve on the thong is £200 for a "buy now" puchase. But in the event of an auction will you take private "on commission" bids/offers for your thong. You wouldn't want the hammer going down on it without a sale now would you Cool Wink

re: AUCTION A THONG

Nice one Andie.
we must remember that people have to get things there and bring back the bought items, so not too big nor heavy (need space for the kids' stuff). I have just been given a lovely new evening bag for my coffee morning, shall I bring that?
As most people will be leaving the following sat. it would be no good asking for restaurant meals in Bg. Has anyone got any connections in the UK, free cinema tickets, meals at restaurant chains, etc. ??
