Dont go too low budget. You can get some good deals in 4* hotels with great facilities try Perun or Lion both nice

re: Accommodation @ BANSKO- recommendations

I have a one bed apartment near to the lift (250 metres) and town. My company uses it as a show house for its furnishings so it is very well presented. Otherwise it is empty. So long as it is looked after and no one smokes in the apartment - make me an offer if you want to use it for a week. It can sleep 2 in the bedroom and another two on a sofa bed in the sitting room. It has a fireplace and balcony and great views of the mountains.

I recommend the hotel Ida - stayed last year and are going back this year, damn good value, very nice rooms for the price, and not far to walk to the Gondola or into town.

Or Nigel's place sounds alright!

Nigel,

me again.. would I have to cross a bridge to get to the lifts from the appartment?
How does €50 a night for 2 persons sound?

Perun great. Splash out on a good hotel. You get a lot for your money in Bansko.

re: Accommodation @ BANSKO- recommendations

Hi Julz
No bridge to cross. Yes it comes with a kitchen and bathroom (and even includes a bidet!) There is a posh leisure centre next door (about 10 euros a day) and a supermarket at 50 metres plus loads of restuarants and bars. Look to pay about £10 for a meal for 2 including wine and 30p for a beer.
Happy to accept your offer on the basis that you are staying for 7 days and pay for it to be cleaned afterwards (about 50 euros).
