People keep mentioning the “adult” bars in Borovets but lets be honest some of us may want to visit them. Are they safe? What are the rip-offs, cons etc? is it £20 for a watered down drink that you have to buy? Come on they stay in business so some of you must have been in!
I agree banknote, leave this sort of question till after ten and ask it as suttly as poss, Let the kids (the little ones not the rest of us) go to bed first. this gives parents a chance to monitor. befor kiids vew the next day.
without causing offence to some folk in here, i think robo deserves his question answered. I went borovets 2 years ago and am goin again in march. Visited a number of 'adult bars' and had a good time. You do pay more for your drinks in there but its not too bad. A dance will cost you between 10 - 15 lev bout a fiver with tip). Anything beyond that can be negotiated. There will be a couple of shady looking mafia types in the bars but ignore them and they will ignore you.

HI there,

hmmm, yeah i agree to tone it down slightly but at the end of the day, talking about it on here is probably less of an evil than the young ones seeing a giant model of a thonged lady's behind protruding from one such bar on the main strip, next to a resteraunt no less, they are quite a few of said bars in borovets and pretty much unavoidable, good fun nonetheless
