Can anyone tell me if there is an advanced ski class in Bansko?
I have been skiing in the upper intermediate class but didn't see or hear anything about an advanced class that also spend a bit of time off-piste.
Take a private lesson, speak to the ski school, explain what you want to cover and they will recommend an instructor. I believe if you want to go off-piste you will have to sign a disclaimer...
Expect to pay about 60 lev - 100 lev for three hours through the ski school, a lot cheaper if you can speak to the instructor direct but you won`t have any cover.....

Hi steve c,
I was thinking that I may have to do just that i.e. book a private lesson. However, I wanted to wait and see if there is in fact an advanced ski class in Bansko. i know that Pamporovo do but didn't hear anything while in Bansko last season.
I have covered all the parallel skiing, advanced carving i.e without snow plough before initiating the parallel turn and even a bit of jump turning, mogul running etc. I'm no expert on any of these techniques but I feel confident enough to execute these techniques while at speed and to ski any run on the mountain including to awsesome Alberta Tomba black run - love that one!
