Age limit in Pamporovo

Hi,

I want to take my 2-year old daughter to Pamporovo in January, but am unsure as to what she will be allowed to do. I don't want to leave her in a creche or even in a ski school. I just would like to go on to the couple of beginner courses (don't even have to be any slopes!) so she can enjoy the snow and get used to it.
Does anyone know if that will be possible? I don't want to get out there and we can't do anything for a week!
Thanks,
David

Normally kindergarten will not take them till they are 4 so your only option if you wanted to leave her would be creche..
If you want to take her on the slopes yourself there will be no problem, on a sledge, or even the trainer plastic skis. We have our daughter here and she will be 2 in Feb, and she definitely will be up on the snow this season. Last season we had her on a sledge and she was barely 1, and in a back-pack where i was skiing with her, she loved it. Stick to nursery slopes or ...

Hi,
Brilliant, thanks so much for your advice, it's really put my mind at rest.
And love the video by the way!! Although, with my lack of skiing skills I think I'd probably crush my daughter if I tried something similar!!!
I think I'll try the plastic skis - do you know if they sell/rent these at the resort or should I take these with me?
Thanks

Try and track a set down in the UK, the Bulgarians are very protective of their kids, and the thought of letting them do anything that might involve them getting cold, god forbid.... so on that basis you will struggle to find them here. You want the plastic ones with the boot straps that will hold just a normal snow boot, and they will be clipped at the tips to stop them crossing, and with a cord so you can pull them along. A cheap set of poles is an idea as well, to help the kiddy balance, ...

One piece suits are good, though a pain for changing, but worth it in the snow, and don't forget a helmet, we got our daughter one for 30lv... looks a picture, especially with her goggles Very Happy

That's great, thanks very much. I presume I will have to get the snow boots from over here too? Sorry for all the questions!

Yes im afraid, not that they are not available, but you have a better choice and they will be cheaper... We found the slip on fur lined boot with a zip, and a cuff within so they don't get wet feet. Proof them as well if they are the material type...

Once again, thanks very much for the advice. I feel much better, if a little poorer(!) now. Much appreciated.
