Graham, don't know about BA but Thomson are not allowing ski boots in hand luggage, not sure about soft snowboard boots, someone said if they have boa (metal cable lace) they are only allowed in check in luggage.
I had a Swiss Army knife go missing from the end pocket of my holdall on the way back from Plovdiv last year, my fault really did not put it in the lockable compartment. Secret is if it's valuable either put it in hand luggage if it's not on the banned list, or put it in the lockable part of your luggage.
Cheers guys, some good information there, think il but boots in with big ski/luggage bag just to be safe.. an put a big ass lock on it!! haha. Well troops thanks alot, Roll on 6am Thurs... Bansko beware!!
Liza - was that because they were in boot bags and obvious as I was thinking of sticking mine in my son's little suitcase which he takes on as hand luggage....do you think I will get away with it that way. Where/ who did you fly from/with?
