Airport Theft!!!

Hey, 1 quick subject before i fly out on Thurs! Very Happy... bought a big board/luggage bag to keep packing simple .. now my friend started to worry me by saying u need to watch as there can be cases where things get stolen at Bulgarian Airports??
Is this common or just myth?? flying with BA so i was thinkin its pretty reliable??

any thoughts on matter.

re: Airport Theft!!!

boots are not usually allowed in the cabin allowed as classed as dangerous weapons! We've had no problems nor heard of anything like that for plovdiv or sofia i'd imagine you'll be fine Smile

We went to Boro on 26 Jan, my friend had her GHD straightening irons pinched from her suitcase on the way there. OK she hadn't locked it!
If you see any baggage handlers with nice straightened hair let us know please!!

Had a great time, roll on next year.

re: Airport Theft!!!

As your cases disappear at one airport and do not re=appear until the carouosel at the other end, how can you be sure at which end the thiefts are taking place?

To offload your baggage takes far less time than the original outgoing loading process, so I would suggest that if any losess accur on the outward journey there is a far greater window of opportunity for them to have been broken into in the UK.

pack valuable items (cameras, camcorders, ipods etc) in hand luggage. nothing too valuable in case. Lock case. check-in case. buy travel insurance. hope for the best!

So glad he liked the t-shirt, was V's alright too - I didn't know if she was girly-girly or not?

What other stuff do you think we could feasible sell to keep the funds coming in for the orphanage, so far we have beanie hats, those rubber wristbands and suitcase tags. Could you do some market research on you kids?

4 mins and counting!
