Allowance - 20kgs
Using - 18kgs
Dont know whether to wear ski jckt at airport or put it in case. 18kgs is with normal coat and ski jckt on me back. Would weigh more with ski jckt in case and me wearing normal coat at airport, but would be comfortable on plane!

Does anyone know if its OK to take on hand luggage (mini-case) which fits in the basket thingy AND a handbag or can you only take one item of hand luggage on board?

Jon, you are funny !! If I was you I would wear the ski jacket - you might just need it when you get there and your wading through the snow drifts !!! Have a great hol ! P.S. Yes, you can get quite alot of 'cheap' gear !

If you have spare kg in your suitcase and are heading for Pamporovo please please spare a thought for the local orphanage where the kids have nothing! Chuck in an extra pair of gloves or hat and extra shampoo or soap,maybe even some pens or pencils.Give them to any Balkan rep or to me Melanie(Knibbs) at the Mourgavets Hotel 27th Jan-3rd Feb. They are so grateful for anything. Thanks.
