Alpina - closed for refurbishment?

Alpina - closed for refurbishment?

Can anyone confirm if this is the case? Husband tried to go in and was told this? Maybe they were just trying to clear up or something and didn't want the crowds!

What day/time was it?? i know they close between about 5ish and 9.30 ish pm on saturdays....

Lol, just read this thread. Was going to go up there this afternoon for a coffee and a chin wag - will go and see what is happening, but am not sure that it would be closed for refurbishment. Perhaps they were just clearing up from the night before.

The most unfriendly bar in Borovets. I went in during the opening hours that are advertised only to be told "regulars only".

Hi have to agree with Steve very unfriendly five of us went there for something to eat last week went at 11.55 we were told didnt open until 12 so we took our custom elsewhere certainly wouldnt be going there again.

hi all
aimee from the alpina here. we are open as normal and will continue to be open through the summer. apologies about the late opening and regulars only is something that neither myself, arie or our staff would stay. We see ourselves as a friendly bar and would never offend someone in such a manner.
