why has the snow not arrived?im goin 2 pamporovo in 9 days and am starting to get seriously worried now!!!has this happened before???sorry i know this is the most common question but i cant help but thinkin it will turn out bad!

You're sooo not the only person worrying! A group of 8 of us are shooting out on 24th for a week, the pamporovo webcam is the most depressing sight at present! Might invest in a pair of grass skis..

the web cam in pamps is right at the bottom so you dont get a true picture of what the mountain is like, down side if your a beginer that is where the nursery slopes are, dont know if they would move ski school up the mountain. last year snow was fine but the whole of europe is having the same issues as very warm winter. problem this early in the season sorry to say.re: Am I The Only Person Worrying??

yea i know that the webcam is at the bottom but i will prob b joining in on the beginners again this year as most of my group are beginners and the rest have skiied a few times!i do remember a particular green slope with very icy patches and that was in january-i cant help but think what they will be when i fly out (23rd)

For goodness sake CHILL!! If it snows it snows, if it doesn't, there's nothing you can do about it except make the best of your hol. Worrying's gonna give you crows feet.... just go with PP and a bit of optimism! I'll be there on the same day, and we've all paid out, just like you have..... but we'll be smiling whatever the weather's doing!!!!!

Hi Sarah, I too was worried and kinda stll am. I spoke to my holiday rep (Panorama) and she has told me if there is no snow in Pamporovo, they will bus us up to Bansko or somthing like that. It's under an hour away. I'm not too worried anything. I am flying out on the 23rd aswell. I'm not too interested in drinking . I can do that at home... Hope it all works out for us!!!!
