Reading in my Sun newspaper today a friend of the columnist Kelvin MacKenzie paid £16 for a 1 egg omelette but declined to pay £31 for lasagne in the ski resort of Courchevel France.re: And you thought BG was dear!!

thankgod i'm in a fully catered place in france or i'd be skint
taking loads of breakfast bars and flapjacks to have on the slopes for lunch each day to save money
seen some shocking prices quoted online for food and drink in most french resorts

I've been to Val d'Isere which was much better than BG (and most other places), but would put BG ahead of Serre Chevalier any dayre: And you thought BG was dear!!
Courchevel has a Chanel shop and many other designer places, if your buying clothes from them £16 for an omlette is prob not an issue.re: And you thought BG was dear!!

Because it is Bulgaria we discuss here, do you not remember those awful articles published by the Sun in 2006 about the Bulgarian and Romanian "hordes" who were dying to come over here and take "our" benefits and jobs?
