We have just returned from Borovets.Nice place to ski but I was not impressed with the child beggars and dogs.I also found it a bit offensive the way the old woman "muttered" at you as u walk past-pleading poverty.I got the quote " Please nice english lady me have young children"-she was about 70!!!!I think the authorities should try to remove them as its not a nice when you are with young children etc.

You get the same in Edinburgh.Just as a matter of interest where should the authorities remove them to. Its maybe not a bad idea that children do see a bit of poverty then they can realise that the world is not all ski holidays and toys.

Hi,I can't stand beggars,either.BUT you have them in each country AND in Bulgaria they are NEVER Bulgarian,but GYPSY.So are 100% of the pickpocketters.Only Gypsy.DO NOT give money to the Gypsies-they beat their kids,forbid them to study at schhol ,abuse them sexually and send them to prostitute.There is NO other ethnicity that sell their own KIDS to pedophiles.Gypsies are PARASITES.

Thats a bit harsh Lenny - I know you've probably been brought up to blame the Gypsies for everything. Enid Blyton used to in a lot of her books, before they were rewritten. You'll have to learn to live and let live if you want to join the EU!! The guys flogging the bells in Pamps, who I am sure you will tell me were gypsies, were annoying, but they helped out if you fell over and were actually nice people really. Me and a mate had them trying it on for 10 minutes before they finally left us alone. And the bar and hotel staff do nothing about it

Mike,I WAS NOT brought up to hate the Gypsies.Their OWN actions made me hate them.There is no Bulgarian out there ,who wasn't robbed at least once by gypsies.They even teach 3-5 year-old girls to steal!I've caught a couple on various occasions.Normal people try to get a job,education,a house,a family(in any order).

Gypsies live on RAIDING the Bulgarians' properties.Nothing would stop them.I was brought up to RESPECT everybody .Once I gave away my seat to a pregnant Gypsy ,her friends robbed me faster than the speed of light.They are PROFESSIONAL THIEVES and EVERYBODY SHOULD AVOID THEM.Otherwise you will run the risk of losing your camera,wallet,etc,etc,etc,but at the end to make my conclusion.I can tell you things you don't want to know.Their girls marry at age 12.Sometimes 11.Pedophilia is a daily routine,so is incest.And no matter how old a baby is,a Gypsy would sell it as if it were a piece of furniture.It's unbelievable.Take them all to Britain,you don't have enough and don't know them well...
They are parasites -leeches draining our blood.I feel disgust,as any normal human who has encountered them numerous times.
