My daughter did post a message last week asking for a roll call, and got 1 reply, but althought its half term I would have thought there must be more out there same as me who can't afford half term and didn't want the crush. My husband said I was mad getting her into 'chat rooms'. I tried to explain this board is hardly the same thing, and I would be with her anyway, but i'm now band from letting her anywhere near this lot. Lucky for me he's staying at home to look after our 3 year old ...

Hi Jacqui, I'm afraid I agree with your husband about being wary of letting your daughter into chat rooms. Obviously this site, I thought, was for decent people just trying to get some tips and info before going to Bulgaria. Unfortunately, there are the sad few that let it down with pathetic comment's.
Anyway, onto brighter things, I'm sure that there will be many others in the same situation as you, and your daughter will get to meet with other children. My brother usually takes my 10 ...

My brother usually takes my 10 year old niece's out of school holiday time because of his job, and he always manages to meet other families at that time.
Humberside airport is only 20minutes for me and so it's nice and convenient. However, we do stop at Newcastle to pick the Geordie crowd up. I'm a novice skiier as well, although I have had a couple of lessons at Escape. So we'll probably 'bump' into each other on the slopes.
