Funnily enough, the threads that have attracted dominating opinions, rude, arrogant and aggressive responses have been those mainly about BG and skiing.People don't have to read threads that are obviously about football, jokes and other 'none Bulgarian' related topics.
I agree, though, that the good natured banter seems to have disappeared lately.

It got to the stage last season that I was getting fed up of looking on here, for fear of yet another orphanage posting or the latest on the Ski a thong and heaven help anyone who dared to criticise it. Yes I know that the orphanage is a good cause and yes I did feel sorry for the children and yes I did donate. But as you quite rightly pointed out this is a skiing forum and I think it lost a lot of its sparkle last ...

The problem as I have stated on many occasions is this forum needs to brought into the 21st century so we can create a whole seperate page for the orphanage if needs be and when you sign up for the fourm(something that we really need) you could even be asked to make a small donation. I am not saying we should not be talking about or indeed nor raising money for it, just that it took over completely last seaon.

The forum format on the SKIDVD site is excellant for this as it allows you to go to the area you wish to read instead of having to guess at what is behind a certain thread or having to trawl through endless postsdbut

I agree with Dan and TDW, I am glad that the fund raising has worked, but hopefully next year the focus will be on skiing and some of the old guys will return and we can have a laugh.re: Another bloody thread on orphanages / everything other than skiing !!!!!

It will be such a relief to open this forum again around October when we all get ski/snowboard fever and there be no mention of orphanage or fund raising, can't we all be hedonistic snow bunnies again like the good old days, we all go to Bulgaria so obviously we love the country and it's people but as the above say I got very fed up of the PP gang and the forum threads.

Hi guys - as Pete says, every time one of you posts your comments concerning the orphanage it brings this thread back to the top of the board. Fantastic - it keeps the orphanage in everyone's minds. Pity you didn't put the word "Stoikite" in the title as that would have really done us a big favour

PS, forgot to mention - in case you didn't realise - Pamporovo is a SKI resort - so it is about skiing isn't itA
