Yes Andie their are people that have donated but we do not need it rammed down our throats all the time and made to feel like we need to give more.
Sorry but there are plenty of other charities and people in the world and many in this country who need help. In particular children in Darfor(sp) who have lived through and continue to see things that nobody should.
I salute you and the others for bringing the orphanage to our attention and your work in raising money for the cause is ...

Bulgaria celebrates Day of the Child on June 1

June 1 is the official Day of the Child in Bulgaria. On this day everybody organises parties and various other events for children. Many youngsters also receive gifts. The following events, to which all are welcome, are also scheduled for Sofia on June 1:

These children will not be attending any events as we have no funding for it, they will not be recieving gifts either

i raised the point of the orphanage at the beginning of this season and was kicked down by pp.and many others. my first thread caused alot of debate and upsthopefuly now for the 2009 season . this board can be about ski/snowboarding etc. as pete says he has done his work for the kids.
so lets move on

Hi All,lets have some middle ground here.
The orphanage was initialy brought up because its so close to Pamporovo ski resort and it was making visitors aware whats so close to the ski slopes/bars/restaurants etc.
I'm sure without this and other forums no money would have been raised.
looking at the forums theres about 4 out of 50 on orphanages.
'everything but skiing' dont exagerate loads of skiing stuff to discuss
