PS: not really German and any sites other than Ebay would be good. Maybe I'm in a minority here but I don't like Ebay!!

definately TK Maxx we are taking 4 boys, two 10 year olds and two 8 year olds and we got them well kitted at TK without breaking bank. Also for layers, try GAP we bought their roll neck tops for £2.99 each in the sale as opposed to £9.99 everywhere else and when you're buying for 4 growing boys.....
