As the title goes.... Have you lovely lot, treat yourselves to any new shiny spangly kit this season for your hols. New skis/boards, bindings, boots, goggles, jackets etc etc.
I've just received in the post today a mint 2nd hand never summer rocker/ camber board.........Cant wait to get it strapped to me footsie's on sunday morning, then you can chase me down to the bottom.
Got myself some bang tidy K2 Rictors the other week but got to wait until the 10th to give them a blast.
Tested them in Austria back in Jan and they're awesome, it's going to be a great week.
got me a new lib tech skate banana with magna traction and some new burton imperial boots and cartel bindings. Best board I've ever ridden, loved it all so much in Boro last week six days wasn't enough so I'm booking up for a long weekend on the 8th. sweet little set up. didn't catch an edge all week except in the deep pow.
your in for a treat with your rocker/camber board.
It just makes everything so much easier , you don't have to think about or force turns they just happen. you float on the powder without having to lean back. i think it makes whatever technique you have allot better. i would never go back to a conventional board again.
Paul.
I second what Paul & Trish say, you won't have to think, even ice is just sweet, nothing throws it, buttering, ollies all so easy on my girlie banana Magna traction Gnu be nice, go as wide as you can.
On topic, got me a new Giro helmet and scull candy tune ups this year along with new red pants, I don't ever want a new board, I am in love with my set up from 2 years ago.
Yes rodder,
for this season I treated myself to a lovely bruise pretty much from my elbow to my wrist, courtesy of a fixed wire chair lift in La Thuile Italy. Bloody agony, but on the plus side absolutely free!!!!.
Nice lady lifty was trying to be kind by holding back the chair but sadly let it go way to early, it hit us before I could lift my arm, ouch!!!.
I got a new ski jacket to go with the new skis i left out in boro oh and the new boots i left there too, also bought some new gloves to keep my hands warm (now Mark IOW says its going to be plus figures while we're there I might have to save them till next season) some new goggles as i scratched the new ones i bought last year when we were out at Christmas, oh and some new techie ski socks - I thinks that's it - well all i'm prepared to confess too seeing as Jon reads all my posts
