Hi all, Thinking of buying an apartment in one of the ski resorts been to pamps, going again, but being swayed towards Bansko ? It's a big decision, want to get it right, anyone any thoughts and what is pamps etc like after the ski season.

thought about it myself mate,my ski instructor says the dutch,germans rent the apartments for walking during summer... Hope to go back in march and take a closer look...Caio

Huge investment already in Bansko, don't know about Pamps. Bulgaria is joining the EU soon, very good chance they will get the 2014 Olympics (spies in the camp). Can't see you can lose either way.re: Apartment

bansko boy you been on the rakia!! i for one would love BG to get the Olympics but its not going to happen, South Korea, who thought theyd pipped Canand for the last handout will get it this time, the bid was awesome, check out the ioc website, cant see them losing this time. For investment Bansko is probabaly a bit saturated, cant comment on Pamps but Boro has a lot to offer to summer trade as well, being a National Park. thanks fraser&sarah what do you mean by' maxed', dont wanna do the wrong thing, what is the rental ie long term , as holiday let like, not looking on getting rich, just want nice little nest egg for old age, ha ha. sounds sad or what.

Do not look at apartments in Bansko as an all year round resort. We were there in summer hardly any visitors. Can see there will be a lot of apartments empty in the summer. Winter lets could get tricky with so many new apartments being built the competition is going to be great. Hardly any management companies at the moment and ones there are going to be making a killing. Buyer beware.re: Apartment

I was thinking along same lines.But after chats with locals country has a lot of problems to sort out b4 Eu lets it in.
But beautiful place to buyin ne way - may still take a punt
